Enjoy this full day excursion in a comfortable, full-sized van with all the comforts and with an American guide who has lived and worked in Germany since 1989 to medieval, walled and fortified Nürnberg (one hour drive from Rothenburg) including:

World War II History with a visit to Zeppelin Field, where the huge rallies of the Nazi Party took place from 1933 to 1938. See Hitler's 'Glory Road' and the massive Congress Hall, never finished, and now a museum dedicated to the roots of World War II in Europe. (Not included but can be with special arrangement) Also a walking tour of the old city center including the walls, the castle (not interior but views from) and St. Sebaldus Church dating from the 1200s. Lunch in a sausage kitchen (Nürnberg is famous for these little brats!) is included.

Also included is a visit to the Courthouse complex where the Nürnberg Trials took place after WWII including the museum there. 

Guests must be able to walk and to climb stairs.

Departure from your hotel in Rothenburg at 9:15 and return to your hotel at 5:15 - 5:30
